Modification of 3,600-Ton Fagor Press Moving Bolster

A comprehensive modification of the moving bolster of a 3,600-ton Fagor press was carried out. The project began with the disassembly and inspection of the component to assess its condition and determine the work required. During the project, welded reinforcements were added, cavities were machined to facilitate flash removal, and the contact surfaces were machined to ensure parallelism and dimensional consistency between both sides of the assembly.

The project was completed within 30 days, combining inspection, welding, and precision machining to restore the equipment’s required geometric and functional conditions.
